Reasi, Jan 8: District Development Commissioner Reasi-Shabir Ahmad Bhatt today reviewed physical and financial achievements under district Annual plan 2014-15 and SDRF ending December 2014 here at a meeting of line departments. According to press release, in the meeting implementation, financial and physical achievements under various schemes of Education, Horticulture, Agriculture, Floriculture, Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Youth Services & Sports, Rural Development, Handicraft & Handloom, Health, PHE and R&B were reviewed by DDC. Taking stock of Education Department schemes, threadbare deliberations were held about the schools upgraded under RMSA, SSA and other schemes. CEO Reasi informed that out of Rs 1810.01 lakh funds (revenue +capital) authorized for 2014-15, Rs 951.40 lacs expenditure has been done. Under RAMSA eight school buildings have been completed so far. Under health sector discussions were held on various issues which include block wise achievements under Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) and Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK), status of RKS funds, referral transport services under JSSK, quality of diet given to pregnant women under JSSK, physical achievements under National programmes like RNTCP (TB), national Programme for Control of Blindness, NACO, Maternal Death, besides various other issues were also discussed in the meeting. DDC exhorted upon the health department officials to make people aware about the objectives of NRHM to reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate in the district and stressed on involving PRI functionaries to aware the masses about various schemes. District Sheep Husbandry Officer Dr HS Rana informed that under mutton production they had target of 24.587 lakh kg unit and they achieved 14.910 lakh kg unit till December-2014, and in wool production 3.60458 lakh kg unit target has been achieved till December-2014. Besides progress, physical and financial achievements of Forest Department, Employment, Horticulture, Industries, PMGSY, PDD, Social Forestry, Social Welfare, Revenue, Cooperative, among others were also deliberated upon and necessary instructions conveyed to the concerned. The DDC exhorted the officers to ensure regular monitoring of the ongoing development works of their respective departments and asked the officers of executing agency of different works to put in their dedicated efforts in accelerating the pace of works so that desired targets could be achieved well in time. Superintending Engineer Hydraulic Circle, CPO Reasi-H L Sharma, ACD-Joginder Singh Rai, GM DIC-Krishan Lal, CHO-Sushil Angurana, DSHO-Dr HS Rana, CEO-Ashok Sanyal, CMO-Dr Parminder, XEN PHE, PDD, PWD, PMGSY among others District and Sector officers attended the meeting. |
