| Multilingual cultural programme organized by DIC Doda | | |  Early Times Report
Doda, Jan 8: District Information Centre Doda today organized a multilingual colourful cultural programme at Government Middle School Nagri Doda.
According to press release, the programme organized on the occasion of concluding ceremony of the Teachers Capacity Building Training Programme under SSA organized by DIET Doda.
Principal DIET Doda KL Parihar was the chief guest on the occasion while as Zonal Education Officer Doda Romesh Kumar was the guest of honour, besides District Information Officer Doda Anoop Kumar was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Parihar impressed upon the teacher fraternity to include such cultural items in Co-Curricular Activities of the school Academic Calendar, so that all round development of the students could be done. He also appreciated the instrumental performance given by the Cultural Assistants of DIC Doda.
Addressing the audience on the occasion DIO Doda Anoop Kumar thanked Principal DIET Doda and Zonal Education Officer Doda for sparing their valuable time and cooperation for the successful conduct of the programme.
He said such programmes provides a platform for the budding artists of the area and boost their confidence. Further he expressed hope for such cooperation in future from the line departments in promoting culture based activities in the region. |
