| RCC Srinagar, KC Sports register win in 3rd Christmas T-20 Cup for College Students, J&K Cricketers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 8: RCC Srinagar and KC Sports club registered win and enters in the next round of ongoing 3rd Christmas Twenty-20 Cricket Cup for College Students and J&K Cricketers at Parade Cricket Ground, here today. Earlier, in the first match RCC Srinagar defeated United Blues by 69 runs. Batting first, RCC Srinagar scored 171 runs in stipulated 18 overs for the loss of 4 wkts, with main scorers as Hunny (82),Satish(22 ) & Manik (18). Habib took 2 wickets, whereas Sami and Rayees took 1 wicket each. United Blues in reply could not achieved the target and made only 102 runs in 16 overs for all wickets and lost the match by 69 runs. Habibullah scored 27 runs, Rayees made 23 runs and Abdullah scored unbeaten 19 runs while Amit took 4 wickets Dilbag and Sonu took 2 wickets each while Manik and Sourav shared a wicket for the team. Hunny decalared man of the Match. In the second match, KC Sports scripted a comfortable win against Romi Singh XI. Batting First Romi Singh XI made 113 runs in 20 overs for all wickets with Deepak (26),Parveen (16) were the main scorers. Ramandeep took 4 wickets, Sidhant took 2 wickets, Vivek , Noushad & Arjun Choudhary shared 1 wicket each. In reply, KC Sports XI achieve the target in 14.3 overs for the loss of 4 wickets with Sahil Lalotra(33) , Romi (24) and Arjun (21) were the main scorers. Deepak took 3 wickets, and Rahil Singh took 1 wicket. Raman Deep Singh was adjudged Man of the Match.
