Kishtwar, Jan 8: A group tour of 30 farmers and orchardists for 5 days from Kishtwar district was today flagged off by Ramesh Puttoo, Chief Horticulture Officer Kishtwar.
According to press release, the farmers would visit KVK Bhaderwah, Advance Centre of Horticulture Ramban and departmental nursuries of Doda to get knowledge regarding the latest techniques and equipment in the field of Horticulture.
They would also interact with the Orchardists of Doda and Ramban. Under this initiative the farmers will get better exposure about the new varieties and technology for production, preservation and marketing of fruit. |
