ACR Kishtwar convenes meeting of cable operators regarding DAS 1/8/2015 11:34:49 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Jan 8: Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kishtwar Sudershan Kumar Salaria today convened a meeting of local cable operators and representatives of J&K Media Network Pvt. Ltd. to chalk out an action plan for the implementation of Digital Addressable Cable TV System (DAS) in the district. The meeting was attended by the DIO Kishtwar, AD CAPD and EO Municipal Committee Kishtwar. In the meeting ACR Kishtwar directed to the cable operators to strictly implement the directions of govt regarding DAS and start the digitalization of cable TV network in Kishtwar. They were asked to frame a complete action plan and submit their progress reports on fortnightly basis. The points regarding awareness and dissemination of information amongst the customers were also discussed and it was decided that specific awareness programmes regarding DAS will be held. The mechanism of content monitoring and provision of grievance redressal were also discussed in the meeting.
