| One killed, eight others injured in 'Warwan road tragedy' | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 8: In another tragic accident in mountainous District of Kishtwar, one women was killed while eight others sustain injuries when a Tata Sumo in which they were travelling met with an accident on Matigawran-Inshan road some 130 KM from main township of Kishtwar.
As per the details available with "Early times" a TATA SUMO bearing regd no: JK -17 /0164 met with an accident on way from Marwah to Matigawran near Nadibalan Margan top thing afternoon at around 1545 hrs resulting into on spot death of a lady namely Fatha Begum w/o Ghulam Mohammad r/o Dund Marwah while eight others passengers got injured .
The injured presently being hospitalized at nearby hospital have been identified namely as Abdul Ahad s/o Fata Najjar of Satarwagan, Mohammad Amin s/o Ali Jamal of Yurdoo, Manzoor Ahmed s/o Ghulam Rasool of Pathgam, Imtiyaz Ahmed s/o Abdul Jabbar of Astangham, Mubeena w/o Imtiyaz Ahmed of Astangham, Farooq Ahmad s/o Qayoom Malik of Qaderna, Mohammad Ramzan of Dund Marwah and Masood Ahmad ( Driver) resident of Chatroo.
"After receiving the information, the police and locals launched a rescue operation and evacuated the injured to the nearby PHC (Primary Health Centre) Larnoo," sources said.
Meanwhile Taking cognizance the concerned police have registered a case under FIR NO: 01/2015 U/S 279/ 337/ 304 RPC at P/S Warwan..
While expressing solidarity with aggrieved family and others, MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma has condoled the death of a lady in Marwah accident and also prayed to God to give peace to the departed soul besides speedy recovery of the injured persons. |
