POONCH, Feb 8: Beating hosts Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Club 2-1 in the decider, Mahant Bachiter Singh Club Jammu clinched the title trophy of the hockey series held under the aegis of Hockey J&K, here today.
In the prize distribution function, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), JS Johar was chief guest, who gave away the winners and runners-up trophies as also other individual prizes.
Speaking to the gathering, the chief guest appreciated the organizers for providing platform to the young boys. The ASP, Amit Gupta, DySP, Deepak Digra were also present.
The competition held under the supervision of Gurdeep Singh Saraf and hockey coach, Matinder Pal Singh. Today's match officiated by the technical penal including Kulwant Singh, Narinder Singh and Ruchika Sharma. |
