Congress celebrates Azad's win to RS 2/9/2015 12:12:22 AM Early Times Report Kathua, Feb 8 : District Congress Committee Kathua celebrated the victory of Ghulam Nabi Azad for retaining the seat of member of Rajya Sabha from Jammu and Kashmir. The party leaders/workers led by District Congress Committee President Former MLC Subash Chander Gupta term the victory of Azad as the victory of Secularism. The party leaders exchanged sweets and dancing with elation on drum beats to celebrate the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Gupta congratulated Azad for his re-election as member of the Rajya Sabha. Terming Azad as man of development and progress Subash Gupta said that Ghulam Nabi Azad had work hard for the development and prosperity of the state of Jammu and Kashmir in his full capacity whether as Chief Minister of the state or as Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare. Reminding the party leaders' of achievements of Azad, Subash Gupta said that the state has witness the unprecedented progress during the two and half years of his tenure as Chief Minister and as Union Health Minister. He added that during his small tenure of Chief Minister Azad initiated several development works and tried to complete them in double working shifts.
