JKTF criticizes order of adjustment of masters | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 8 : Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Jammu criticized the order issued by the government, directing the Director School Education Jammu and Chief Education Officers for adjusting the repatriated / surplus masters against the available vacancies in far flung areas. Addressing a press conference, Ganesh Khajuria, state General Secretary said these repatriated masters of Jammu, Samba and Kathua Districts had already served in the remote areas of other districts for a complete tenure. Instead of adjusting them suitably, they were kept as surplus in the office of respective CEO's. In spite of providing respite, they have been made worst sufferers again by forcing them to serve in far flung areas. This move of the Govt. has created a fear psychosis and distress among the teaching community. These masters are being made scapegoats of ill-deeds of those who were at the helm of affairs for the reasons best known to them. The forum strongly criticized the criminal silence of the Govt. on the issue of illegal and biased adjustments of nearly 165 promoted masters in Feb. 2014, out of about 1100 masters by throwing all the norms and adopting pick and chose policy adding fuel to the sufferings of other masters of this batch who are still awaiting their adjustment as masters. The forum stressed upon the education authorities to immediately issue the adjustment orders of promote lecturers of different streams and vacancies of masters arising thus may be utilized for the adjustment of surplus masters. |
