Army, AFSPA must for security of state : PK | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 8 : Panun Kashmir has expressed serious concern and pity over the opportunist statement of film actor Rahul Bhat in which he has trivialized the religious cleansing and suffering of the Kashmiri Pandit community while shooting for his film 'Fitoor' in Kashmir. Targeting the actor his statement regarding the removal of Army, Vijay Bhat said,"By asking for the removal of Army he is acting as the spokesperson of the enemy camp and indulging in pleading the case of those who want the balkanization of the Indian nation. Armed forces and security personnel are acting as the bulwark to blow into smithereens the evil designs of the jihadis and their mentors across the border. The presence of the Army in the state is utmost important that too with full powers under AFSPA in the present scenario when the Af-Pak region is in a very fluid state. Besides the Army commanders have made it abundantly clear that the state is in the cusp of the balkanizing forces who are working overtime to disrupt the already fragile security atmosphere in the state." Expressing resentment and ridiculing the opportunist statement of the actor, Vijay Bhat, President, Panun Kashmir said, "By saying that the Kashmiri Pandits have suffered less and Kashmiri Muslims more in Kashmir is not only unfortunate but falsification of the reality. |
