TBU to file PIL for upliftment of Urdu 2/9/2015 12:23:24 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, Feb 8 : Tehreek Baqa-e-Urdu (TBU) a non government organization (NGO) has decided to file PIL in the State High Court under the president ship of Irfan Ali Arif and patron Farooq Shah Bukhari. According to press release, a meeting on the directions of Patron and President (of TBU) was held at Rajouri today which was attended by Khurseed Tantrey, Pir Panjal Range president ; Zakir Malik Bhallesi, Central general secretary and spokesman ; Aftab Manhas, student wing president ; Guftar Choudhry, Regional Youth secretary ; members of Central Decision Making Comiittee (CDMC) and Dr Sheeraz Bukhari, Rajouri district president. Following deliberations, it was decided in the meeting that TBU will file PIL in Hon'ble State High Court for making Urdu as official language in true spirit and for which 8 member committee was also constituted. TBU expressed concern that this language is official only in Constitution but it is not being given due respect in offices and to implement the decision TBU has constituted 8 members Committee under the presidentship of Irfan Ali Arif" said Zakir Malik Bhallesi. The demand of opening of Urdu University was also raised in the meeting. Zakir Malik while showing concern said that following demand of TBU, State Government had constituted Iqbal Khanday Committee for constituting State Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (SCPUL) on the pattern of National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) but the institution has still not been created.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
