BRM hails demonetization of currency | | | Jammu, Dec 15: Bharat Raksha Manch (BRM) Jammu hailed demonetization of Rs.1000 and 500 currency notes. According to press release, a meeting of BRM was held held on 3rd and 4th December 2016 at Vithal Bhai Patel House Delhi. Addressing the meeting the leaders of BRM said that decision of the Prime Minister regarding demonetization of Rs.1000 and 500 currency notes was hailed. "It was unanimously resolved that all members and office bearers of BRM Jammu will take all steps for publicity of its benefits and ensure success of this demonetization programme to root out terror funding, reduce corruption and black money", the press note read. BRM took up the issue of Bangladeshi, Burmese and other foreign nationals who are illegally staying in Jammu & Kashmir and are causing all types of woes and problems to the people. It was decided that BRM shall submit a memorandum to the Govt in this regard. It was also brought up by one of the members that some unknown people are setting up small phadies for sale of goods in the major markets of Jammu city. It was decided to take up the issue with the Municipal and Police Authorities. |
