Hafiz Saeed, Salah-ud-din dare New Dehi again | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 15: In another "drama" in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK), the terrorist groups on Thursday yet again dared New Delhi, expressing "solidarity with people" of Kashmir, which has been on the boil since July. The rally by the terrorist groups, pledging to "improve their presence" in Kashmir, has put the Valley yet again on alert with security analysts apprehending escalation in terrorist strikes in the coming days. The reports said the terrorist groups held a rally in Muzaffarabad, The rally was hosted by Jamaat ud Dawa chief and 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed, who is also the cofounder of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit. Saeed, shared the stage with Hizb chief Syed Salah Ud Din. The duo flanked by other terrorist commanders reiterated their support to terrorism "till Kashmir is liberated." The terrorist groups held the provocative rally at a time when tensions between India and Pakistan have already heightened in the wake of LOC skirmishes and rise in attack on security installations in the valley. Over a dozen terrorist leaders stood up on the stage, joining hands to say they would keep supporting violence in Kashmir. It was Saeed's second major offensive rally in POK after the surgical strike on Pakistan. In October, a day after India said it had conducted surgical strikes on terror launch pads in POK, Saeed threatened that Pakistan would "show India what surgical strikes are", and not even the US would be able to prevent them. Since then, Saeed is often seen addressing terrorist rallies in POK alongside Salah Ud Din. Saeed is believed to be the mind behind all recent attacks on Army installations in Jammu and Kashmir. Some time back security agencies had confirmed that Saeed was in contact with Hizb commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani and is also believed to be mentoring Abu Dujana, who heads LeT in Kashmir. Among the most wanted terrorists operating from Pakistan, Saeed is seen as a key handler of terror activities in Kashmir. A senior police official said the reports of Saeed-Salah Ud Din's joint rally with Saeed was not a good sign for restoration of normalcy in Kashmir. "We are already working hard to restore normalcy in trouble-torn region, interference of terrorists can only further the tensions, when peace is needed the most," the official said. s
