PPYP appeals Government to start Arabic, Persian subject in JU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 15: Pir Panjal Youth Parliament, a volunteer organisation of Socio-Economic, Peace and Development activities has appealed the state Government to establish the departments of Arabic and Persian in the University of Jammu. President of " Pir Panjal youth Parliament" Sayed Waseem ul Hassan , while highlighting the demand of opening of Arabic and Persian subjects in Jammu university, said that the education is a pillar of modern society and, as such, it is the backbone to creating active participants in a nation's development. He said, that the Education is the principle instrument in awakening the youth especially to cultural and moral values and thus is the strongest force in the development and growth of a young student, in preparing him to be a responsible, intelligent, strong and healthy citizen of the Country. So it is necessary to teach all the subjects and streams in the University Campus . PPYP President , said that It's a crucial 21st century issue and there is a growing recognition that Arabic subject has become a subject of strategic importance in a multicultural society. The students of today, if properly taught, will become the teachers of the future with a vision for multiculturalism and peaceful co-existence. Waseem said that the many awareness programmes are going on , by the state and Central government in, enhance the value of education in rural areas especially, It brings feeling of equality among all people in the society and promotes growth and development of the country but on the other hand those graduate students who are unable to take admission in Arabic and Persian in the campus of Jammu university due the non -availabilty of these two subjects in the campus. |
