| Scarcity of drinking water hits Jughal | | | M S Nazki
Poonch, Dec 15: Drinking water scarcity is causing immense inconvenience to the inhabitant of Jughal area of Mendhar.
The inhabitants have been facing suffering hugely during these cold days due to non availability of fresh drinking water.
The women everyday to walk half kilometer to fetch drinking water while the government is acting a mute spectator as there is not a single drop of water to drink. Adil Rahim Jatt president Jatt sabha Mendhar Poonch told Early Times that many people of this area are using these water illegally and the poor people of the area are compelled to go to half kilometer fetch drinking water during this harsh season They urged to PHE Department Mendhar and were given assurance of and redressing their grievance however his assurance proved hoax and people continues suffer and look into the matter Immediately . |
