Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: Majlies Shoura committee Kishtwar, an amalgam of various Muslim organizations that issued several Fatwas in recent past including ban on holding Musical Nights, Co-Education of Girls in coaching institutes, venturing of women in market without male members, ban on women's beauty parlors and termed the same as un-Islamic was today deeply embarrassed and exposed after one of its member shared porno clip in Social Media group "Whatsapp" .
As per the details available with "Early Times", a member of the Majlies-e-Shoura, who is also a separatist leader shared a porno clip on social media Whatsapp group namely "Red Cross Kishtwar" run by the local social activist and member Red Cross Committee Kishtwar Asgar Ali Sheikh @Bitta Sheikh. The sources said that the incident involving the member Shoura Committee took place on late Thursday evening and people are now questioning the head of the Majlies-e-Shoura Committee Farooq Ahmed Kichloo who also happened to be the Immam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar over his silence on the issue.
The people calling "Early Times" said that Immam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar while imposing the ban on holding Musical nights during marriages named and shamed the people during huge public gatherings at various mosques over petty things had turned mute after several people brought the incident into his notice during Fajar Nimaz (First prayer of the day) on Friday.
The people said that Immam Jamia Masjid must have brought the matter before the public on the very day instead of hiding the same. Though Immam Jamia Masjid suspended him from the Majlies-e-Shoura Committee, but fingers of suspicion are being raised towards the Immam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar for attempting to shield the erring.
Several people are seeking explanation from the committee head and its members over not going public in this regard while at the same time poor people were named and shamed and even fined for dancing and running music during marriages. "We don't want to hang anyone-let him come and explain his position before the people. Why different yardsticks are adopted for different set of people?" said locals.
The admin of the group also confirmed the circulation of the porno clip in his group by the Shoura Committee member and added that he had removed him from the group. It is pertinent to mention that Immam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar had imposed fine of Rs. 20000 on his own brother for dancing during a marriage ceremony.
