Sajjad Lone appoints Mansoor's daughter, Madni's niece in SWD
Keeping PDP leaders happy!

Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: While the Peoples Democratic Party -Bharatiya Janta Party alliance is facing public fury for the "fraudulent selections" made in the recent government jobs, separatist turned mainstream leader Sajjad Lone, who is the Minister for Social Welfare has been "showering" jobs on the kiths and kin of PDP leaders.
Apart from selecting Rufiada Mansoor, daughter of PDP's General Secretary and Vice Chairman Khadi Village Board Peerzada Mansoor Hussain, Sajjad Lone has also selected Sahara Sayeed, daughter of Muhammad Sayeed Khan, brother-in-law of Sartaj Madni in the Social Welfare Department at a lucrative post with initial salary of Rs 20,000 per month.
Official documents, a copy of which lies with Early Times, reveal that Social Welfare Department has given a job to Sahara Sayeed at a monthly salary of Rs 20,000 per month apart from other benefits.
Official documents reveal that the recruitment has been made by the State Mission Directorate, Integrated Child Development Scheme vide order number 231 SMO of 2018 dated 24 -2-2018.
Sources said Sajjad Lone was cautioned by the officials in the Social Welfare Department against resorting to "ruthless favoritism and other corruption" at the cost of career prospects of deserving candidates who had applied for the job.
Source said Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who is upset with such scams, had asked the Chief Secretary BB Vyas to get the "fraud as done" by Social Welfare Department be probed and the selections as made by Sajad Lone be quashed forthwith.
But it was reliably learnt that Lone has told BB Vyas that the "state government shouldn't dare to meddle with recruitments" as made by him as he enjoys patronage of BJP top brass in the national capital.
Ironically while Sajjad Lone's alleged frauds have put BJP in tight spot for having made him minister from the party quota, the right wing party has been silent over the alleged scam.
Source said Sajjad Lone has spoken to some senior BJP leaders in New Delhi asking them to issue a "party whip" that none of BJP leaders in JK speaks over the issue. "We have been asked to stay away from the controversy," said a senior BJP leader on the condition of anonymity.
Sources said given the public anger, the BJP leaders in Jammu are likely to call a meeting to unanimously seek revocation of the recruitment orders as made by the ministry headed by Sajjad Lone.
A senior official in the Social Welfare Department confirmed that the "kith and kin" of PDP leaders have been absorbed in the jobs. "But you better contact mantri ji," the official.
Despite repeated attempts the Minister for Social Welfare couldn't be contacted for comments.
