Lawrence School bids adieu to class 12th students

JAMMU, Feb 26: A best of luck and farewell party was organized for the outgoing class 12th of Lawrence Public School in the school premises. The Chief Guest Wg Cdr MM Joshi, Chairman Lawrence Public School and Guest of Honour Shakuntla Joshi, Founder Principal Lawrence Public School were welcomed by the staff and students of the school. The programme started with students paying floral tributes to Maa Saraswati followed by a very interesting musical theme in which the class 11th students sang songs and the outgoing class 12th students had to guess on whom was the song characterized. The class 12th students were later called upon one by one to do the cat walk followed by picking up a slip to perform on the spot act. A few students also performed the standup comedy act and made the audience laugh their hearts out. The Miss Lawrence title was presented to Sonam Angmo from Section A and Manvi Baru from Section B by the Chairman of the School while Mr Lawrence title was presented to Ranbir Singh from Section A and Vaibhav Saraf from Section B by the Founder Principal. The student of the year award was presented to Shikha Baru by Managing Director of the School, Manish Joshi while the best student award was presented to Taufiq Daing by the Headmistress of the School, Shivani Joshi. The shining stars awards were presented to Aayat Navi, Sukriti Sharma, Saksham Banathia and Ashish Pathania by Vice Principal of the School, Tejinder Kaur. All the students were presented best of luck cards along with mementos.
