ADCSA meets FM, seeks removal of pay anomalies

JAMMU, Feb 26: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) led by Babu Hussain Malik, State President, today met the Finance Minister, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Home (Convenor of the Pay Anomalies Committee) and Principal Secretary, Finance in their office Chambers regarding removal of disparities of Clerical cadre employees.
They also sought to grant the pre revised Pay Scale of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistants, 4500-7000 to Senior Assistants and 5500- 9000 to Head Assistants. This has remained long pending demand of the employees and requested the government to issue a separate order like other cadres before implementation of 7th Pay Commission.
The Government had made agreement with the clerical cadre employees on 10-03-2008 but the burning issue is hanging uptill now. The Finance Minister assured the delegates that the grievances of the Clerical Cadre are genuine and will be solved before the implementation of 7th Pay Commission.
All the representatives in one voice appealed to the government to implement the landmark judgement of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015, M.P. No. 01/2015 in letter and Spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest. The Association then lodged a contempt petition No. 25/16 to implement the orders of the Hon'ble High Court in this behalf. To implement the orders of Hon'ble High Court the Government formed a committee vide order No. 420- GAD of 2016 dated 21-04-2016 and order No. 67-GAD of 2012 dated 16-01-2012 whose report is not known to the clerical cadre till date.
