Jammu, Mar 21: Under the "Rashtriya Swachhta Abhiyan" the Swachhta Pakhwara observed by Monitoring and Appraisal Directorate, CWC, Jammu and Chenab Division, CWC, Jammu. All the staff members of both the offices of Central water Commission participated in the drive. In addition to the officers and staff of CWC, Jammu, the manpower from Muncipal Corporation Jammu and local residents also enthusiastically participated in this special drive.
The Director, M and A Directorate, CWC, Jammu encouraged the local residents to take part in the drive. Later, Director Yoki Vijay addressed all the participants and local residents about the cleanliness of the pond and surroundings. It was suggested that the residents of the area may also be made aware and motivated to keep the Pond and the surrounding area clean. |
