PDP-BJP Govt may fall, countdown begins
3/21/2018 11:41:51 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 21: The countdown of the Coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir has begun and what was the matter of speculation in this regard, became a known fact in yesterday's Cabinet meeting when BJP Ministers suddenly woke up from deep slumber after three years and objected to certain anti-Jammu actions of the establishment.
According to the sources in BJP circles, the entire drama by the BJP Ministers in the Cabinet meeting was pre-planned under clear directions of the party high command, which had already signaled the state unit about the fact that days of the coalition Government were numbered.
A message in this regard from the high command was first flashed to the State BJP on the day when then Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu was sacked from the Cabinet by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and the same was indirectly repeated by Ram Madhav, BJP National General Secretary and Incharge J&K Affairs, during his recent visit to Jammu, sources informed.
In fact, sources said, the sacking of Drabu is not a reason behind the BJP decision to part ways from PDP as script of the same was written around two months ago after the outcome of Gujarat Assembly elections.
Even as BJP won the Gujarat elections, the party high command realized the undercurrent against the party policies and then a decision was taken to severe ties with PDP in J&K for giving an impression across the country that national interest is supreme for the saffron party, sources explained.
This was the reason and direction that the BJP Ministers, who remained deaf and dumb for the three years and used to slip into coma during the Cabinet meetings, suddenly turned vocal before the Chief Minister for cause of Jammu, sources said and added that more such stand offs between the coalition partners are likely to be witnessed in the next few months before collapse of the Government thus paving way for by elections in J&K along with Lok Sabha polls across the country.
