Painting, essay writing competition organised

Jammu, Mar 21: Dulhasti Power Station organized a painting and essay writing competition in Daffodil Model Public High School in Kuleed, Kishtwar on Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation.
The competition was organized with an objective to aware and sensitizes the general public of Kishtwar through young students and providing them the opportunity to come out with innovative thoughts on the subject.
In a function organized here today in the premises of the school Yoginder Kotha, Head of the Power Station distributed prizes to the winners of the competitions. In addition to five consolation prizes the First, Second & Third prize winners were Mehak Sharma, Vasundhara Raj Sharma and Simran Sharma.
While interacting with the students, Yoginder Kotha said that Energy Saved is Energy Produced.
He encouraged the students to act as an Energy Efficiency Ambassador. He motivated them to pay full attention to their studies & as a part of their routine life, attention may also be given to save the energy and convey this message to other family members and neighbours.
The energy saved through your efforts will be an important contribution in the nation building.
On this occasion Satish Kumar Parihar, Senior Manager (Law), Jugal Kishore Sharma, Manager (HR), Principal Chandra Shekhar Bhutiyal, Jeetraj Sharma, Suman Sharma, School management committee members, teachers and students of the school were present.
