Doda, Mar 21: Department of Youth Service and Sports Doda organized a district level inter zonal tournament in the discipline of Volley-Ball Under-17 boys and Kho-Kho Under-17 girls under RMSA (centrally sponsored scheme, under the chairmanship of Ashok Kotwal DYSSO Doda.
The tournament was inaugurated by SSP Doda Mohd Shabir Khatana in the presence of sports lovers and other dignitaries. In this tournament dozens of students from district Doda participated.
In Volley-ball tournament, the first semi final was played between Thathri Zone Vs Gandoh Zone in which Gandoh zone won the match.
Second Semi final was played between Doda zone Vs Assar zone in which Doda zone won the match.
In Kho-Kho tournament, first semi final was played between Ghat zone Vs Assar zone and Assar zone emerged winner. Second Semi final match was played between Bhaderwah zone Vs Bhalla zone in which Bhalla emerged winnner.
The matches were officiated by PET Neeraj Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Anaytullah Gattu, Sanjay Kumar, Satya Devi, Jai Shree, Vijay Kumaf, Arun Kumar and Kishori Lal. |
