Jammu, Apr 26: A special meeting of Female Multipurpose Health Workers was held here today at office chamber of JKMEF under the Chairmanship of Sushil Sudan President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation and over all supervision of Vinod Sharma Secretary General JKMEF.
A large number of FMPHWs across the Jammu Division attended the meeting. Steps taken by the Health Ministry especially the concern shown by the Health Minister in resolving the 52 years pending matter salaries of 2211 head was highly appreciated by the Female Health Workers.
Sushil Sudan while addressing the meeting along with Neelam Kumari expressed their gratitude and thanked the Health Minister for all his support and actions taken for redressing the issues of Female Health Workers.
They demanded quota of promotion to the post Health Educators in favour of FMPHWs, creation of the Post of LHVs in new PHCs, up gradation of the post of FMPHWs to Senior, Supervisor and Head Female Multipurpose Workers and amendment of SRO 20 which was pending since long.
Neelam Kumari was unanimously elected as Provincial President of Female Multipurpose Health Workers Association for Jammu Province, later she framed her provincial body viz. Suriya Akhter Sr. Vice President, Mamta Sharma Vice President, Sapna Gupta Secretary General, Rekha General Secretary, Mamta Devi & Kavita Bali Office Secretary, Meena Jt. Secretary, Sarso Devi Advisor, Sharda Publicity Secretary, Sarita Organizer and Jeevan Jyoti Cashier. |
