JAMMU, Apr 26: Top brass of BJP these days are avoiding Jammu- Kathua National Highway due to fear of the residents of adjoining village of Hiranagar, who have been agitating to handover Rassana murder and alleged rape case to the CBI for Probe
On Thursday a senior PDP leader's conclave passed through the Hiranagar area while touring the Lakhanpur toll post Katha, but Hindu Ekta Manch workers showed black flags to the PDP Minister at Jammu pathankot national highway at Kootah Morh Hiranagar.
Meanwhile it is pertaining to mention here that earlier Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh used a chopper to reach Billawar to address a public meeting. Dr. Jatinder Singh who held a public meeting at Billawar on April 8, 2018 used a chopper and landed at Bhaddu village from where he travelled via road to reach the Billawer.
Dr. Singh is Lok Sabha member from Udhampur-Doda seat and Hiranagar is part of the same constituency. The anger against the ruling BJP-PDP leaders brewing day by day as none of the ministers comes in front to support the demand of local peoples, due to this the BJP-PDP ministers have to face the wrath of the people. Sources said the women who were sat on fast unto death from last one month at Kootah Morh, but no one from the government reached their to listen their grievances, This act of government costs them heavily as protestors decided to oppose and show black flags to ministers of BJP and PDP in future
Earlier on 5 April 2018 the Rasana women along with Panthers activists showed black flags to Minister Abdul Haq Khan and BJP minister Priya Sethi and force them to leave the function in between.
On 7 April 2018 Saturday late evening protesting women also showed black flags to the BJP Minister Sham Lal Choudhary , when his cavalcade passing through the highway at Hiranagar. |
