JAMMU, Apr 26: The three-day long 49th KVS Regional Sports Meet U-14, U- 17 and U-19 (Girls) concluded with a grand valedictory function held here today at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Bantalab.
135 players drawn from 13 different Kendriya Vidyalayas of Jammu Region participated in different events with great enthusiasm and exhilaration.
Santhosh Kumar, the Principal of the host school, was the chief guest and presided over the valedictory function. On the occasion, he honoured the winners with certificates and medals.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest congratulated the winner teams and advised the selected players to prepare themselves for excellent performance in the KVS Nationals. He also called upon the players to be agile, develop sportsmanship qualities and sense of positive competitiveness.
Meanwhile, the 49th Regional Sports Meet being held at KV Lakhanpur, also concluded in the Vidyalaya premises. |
