POONCH, Apr 26: Superintending Engineer PWD Rajouri - Poonch circle has denied information of PWD Rajouri related to various works executed during the last two financial years sought under RTI Act.
Sensing exposure of misdeeds scripted by some tainted officials of PWD Rajouri, no information has been provided to RTI applicant.
Pertinent to mention here that PWD Department remained in news for scripting large number of foul plays over the last there years and to clarify wrong doing, a RTI applicant approached the SE and requested him to provide him the desired information but after passing of more than one and half month, no information has been provided. When contacted, SE Rajouri said that he will direct the concernef to provide the information.
When XEn PWD Rajouri and XEn Nowshera said, We have receive application few days ago and we will work on it.
Similarly, many RTI applicants have appealed the government to issue necessary directions to the concern officials to strengthen RTI act else people will loose faith in the institution of transparency. |
