4/24/2020 11:33:53 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 24: Contrary to the claims of the authorities not to allow entry of any person from Lakhanpur without quarantine, people continue to enter J&K through illegal means. Genuine people are facing hardship at Lakhanpur, cheaters managed to sneak into J&K through different means, either through crossing the river Ravi or as cleaners or helpers of trucks.
Credible sources said that large numbers of people have sneaked into J&K without quarantine at Lakhanpur through Ravi river or with the help of truck drivers who illegally transported these persons as cleaners or helpers.
As reported in a section of media, checking illegal sneaking of people through Ravi, which divides the boundaries of J&K and Punjab, has become a big challenge before administration of UT.
Over 300 people, who tried to cross Ravi river have been detained and later sent to the quarantine by the police after being informed by locals.
The sealing of the main entry points of J&K is forcing many stranded people to take the river route to enter J&K. They are taking the river route to avoid the compulsory quarantine.
