AWSC holds trial meeting through www.saynamaste.in

JAMMU, May 10: Association for Welfare of Senior Citizens (AWSC) Jammu held a trial meeting of its life members via newly launched ‘www.saynamaste.in’. Prominent among those who joined the on-line discussion included A K Arora (Patron), J S Sudan (President), Virender Kumar Gupta (General Secretary), Chander Parkash Dharmat (Vice President), R S Broca (Treasurer), Dr Shashikant Goswami, S C Sharma and few others.
At the outset the participants welcomed the initiative and wished welfare of each other. Besides, it was shared that the Association has made a humble contribution of Rs 21,000 towards ‘J&K Covid-19 Relief Fund’. Members, who have not sent their contribution on this account so far, were requested to arrange the deposit by cash with R S Broca, Treasurer or by deposit into Association’s bank account. Since it was first meeting of its kind, there was no formal agenda. However, participants had open discussion and a resolution highlighting the problems of senior citizens and remedial measures to be initiated thereof was adopted unanimously
