Plan ready to recapture areas under Pak’s illegal control, says former Army Chief
Operation PoK in final stage?

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 10: Former Army Chief and Union Minister, V K Singh, recently said that the Government of India (GoI) has a ready plan to recapture Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and it will be done at an opportune time.
Singh’s statement has come at a time when the Pakistan sponsored terrorists are making desperate bids to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir and the ones present in the Valley are making attempts to make their presence felt.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “After the attacks on security forces in north Kashmir’s Handwara area in which eight security personnel, including a Colonel and a Major, were martyred security top brass has held series of meetings. Many issues including the infiltration attempts have been discussed threadbare.”
He said, “It seems that the plan is being worked out to cut Pakistan and the terrorists sponsored by it to their size. In the first phase the GoI took care off the Pakistan stooges in the Valley. Now, it seems that time has come to take on the terrorists and their bosses sitting across the Line of Control head on.
The Handwara killings could prove to be a turning point and the terror perpetrators could be ripped apart before they plan any other misadventure.”
An observer said, “Indian Army has been in the state of preparedness for the past one-year and it’s waiting for the marching orders. Pakistan has rechristened the terror outfits to mislead the international community that terror groups operating from its soil have been winded up.”
Referring to the recent meeting chaired by the National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval in New Delhi, the observer said, “The issue about new terror outfits coming to fore in Kashmir had come up for the discussion. Clear instructions have been passed to crush the terror groups and the terrorists with an iron fist.”
He said, “The big question is when the GoI will execute its plan to recapture the PoK as the terror machinery is installed there. Pakistan deep state is leaving no stone unturned to implement its nefarious agenda in J&K and it needs to be tamed.
It cannot be done without trampling the Line of Control. The enemy has to be challenged in the territory, which it claims to be its own. Pakistan has to be taught lesson in the language which it understands.”
Another analyst said that V K Singh’s statement is a hint that operation PoK could be in its final stages and it’s just a matter of time before it happens.
