Ajay Sharma Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Jan 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Bank, which is recognized as the premiere bank in the state is fast becoming infamous for allegedly using unfair means to trouble its customers. The officials of Sunderbani branch of JK Bank are allegedly troubling a guarantor of a deceased person and are resorting to all the ways and means to recover the loan raised by the dead man from the guarantor. According to the details available with Early Times one Joginder Pal, son of Durga Dass, a teacher in Thumba area of Nalla Makol tehsil Sunderbani, had raised a housing loan of Rs 3 lakhs from Sunderbani branch of JK bank in 2012-13. However, Joginder died in 2014. Soon after his demise, the bank loan officers, without going into the details of the bank schemes started harassing Sanjay Kumar, colleague of the deceased, who had given the guarantee for the loan. The bank officers even withdrew Rs 26,000 from his account to pay the instalments of the deceased.
