Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Medical Education Department Atal Dulloo vide Government Order No.09-HME of 2019 on 7th of January 2019, constituted a State Level Committee to determine the quantum of compensation in respect of faulty "Acetabular Surface Replacement (ASR) hip implants" manufactured by M/s DePuy International Limited (now M/s Johnson Pvt Ltd) and implanted in J&K State. "Till date we have received complaints from two persons i.e. one from Valley and another from Jammu. 3/1/2019 11:51:11 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 1: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has misled the office of Commissioner Secretary, by showing a Principal under order of transfer even after 44 days of her joining the institution. The political backing of the Principal could be gauged from the fact that in the last six months, she managed four transfers/modification of government orders with an aim to return back to her choicest post of Incharge District Education Planning Officer Kathua (DEPO) from where she was transferred after a controversy with the then Chief Education Officer. As per the joining report, which is in possession of Early Times, forwarded by the office of Principal Higher Seco...

While the country lost six brave-hearts and a civilian in the air tragedy in central Kashmir's Budgam on the day when the India Pakistan hostilities were at its peak, the Governor didn't allegedly "find time to pay homage to the martyrs since." Official sources said no official handout was released from Raj Bhawan here with regard to the air tragedy to condole the deaths nor any such tweet was made by the Governor. 3/1/2019 11:50:39 PM
Saahil Suhail Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 1: The General Administrative Department (GAD) has finally revoked the pre-mature retirement order of a KAS officer. In 2015, 63 civil servants including KAS officer Mohd Yousuf Bhat were retired prematurely by PDP-BJP government. The officers were termed as 'deadwood' in the administration and removed. However, the aggrieved civil servants went to court against the premature retirement and fought vigorously. All Jumlas, no action!
3/1/2019 11:50:29 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 1: It looks like the ordeals for more than sixty thousand daily wagers in Jammu and Kashmir is unending as the government has least bothered to move forward vis-a-vis regularising their services. The Government had earlier ensured these aggrieved daily rated employees that regularisation of their services shall be done in a phased manner. However, as per senior officials privy to the development, not even a single daily wager has been regularised and it looks like a herculean task to implement what the state government had ordered in the past. The implementation of the 7th pay commission stole all the limelight with the aggrieved and non- affluent daily w...

UN has almost washed its hands
J&K issue?
3/1/2019 11:50:06 PM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 1: United Nations (UN) Secretary General (SG), Antonio Guterres, has, it appears, washed his hands of making any further efforts to promote a dialogue between India and Pakistan that would pave the way for the resolution of the so-called Kashmir dispute that has been causing tensions between the two nuclear nations. India considers J&K as its integral part and very rightly. Pakistan says J&K is a disputed territory and it should have become part of Pakistan as it was a Muslim-majority state willfully ignoring the fact that J&K was not part of the partition plan as it was a princely state and that it for the ruler of the state to decide the fate of his state wh...
