| BJP has no vision, policy for country: Azad | | | Early Times Report
Doda/Ramban, Apr 9: Coming down heavily on BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narender Modi for unnecessarily abusing Congress all the time from left and right, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad today stated that "BJP does not have any policy for the people of the country."
Azad made this statement while addressing a joint rally of NC and Congress workers in Ramsoo belt of Banihal today, which was also attended by chief minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for Power Development, Vikar Rasool, former Minister and senior Congress leader, Abdul Gani Vakil and NC provincial president and MLC, Devinder Singh Rana.
"BJP does not have any national policy, economic policy, external affair policy and also not even any sort of employment policy," pointed out Ghulam Nabi Azad further adding that "Every now and then, BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narender Modi, except abusing Congress party in past over six months, has not mentioned even once, how is going to form and government and how is going to perform for the betterment of general public."
"If Congress has not done anything, then who has laid thousands of kilometers long rail lines from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari and from Gujarat to Assam? Who has connected thousands of villages with roads, across the country?
Who has made numerous four lanes, six lanes and 12 lanes national highway roads besides flyovers throughout the country? Which is the party that has provided employment to at least 13 Crore people of the country under MNREGA?" were series questioned raised by Ghulam Nabi Azad to the BJP leadership. He further questioned that is it BJP that has established about 9 lakh ASHA workers through out the country to take care of pregnant women and newly born babies free of cost? Is it BJP that has ensure a School in every village of the country besides raising school buildings and appointing teachers in the said schools with full funding?
Azad also said that "As BJP stands exposed with no specific policy and programme for the country and countrymen, so it has nothing in its kitty except unnecessarily criticizing Congress. It is only Congress that has created record time infra-structure in all spheres as well as in all states of the country. "Lambasting BJP for misleading the people and spreading false and untrue propaganda against Congress party, Ghulam Nabi Azad further said that "when BJP fails to deliver they exploit the innocent people on religious lines. It will be disastrous for India as it is the multi-religious country where secularism and brotherhood prevails. If BJP will continue to pursue its politics on caste and religious lines, the people of the country will give it a befitting reply by forfeiting the deposits of BJP candidates in all 543 Parliamentary seats." |
