Ignoring own cadre, BJP giving importance to Lal Singh's supporters Campaign on Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat 4/9/2014 11:54:20 PM ET Report kathua, Apr 9: Annoyed Congress leader and sitting Member of Parliament (MP) Chowdhary Lal Singh has been "working" for the victory of party candidates in Uttarakhand, his supporters are openly campaigning for BJP in Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Parliamentary seat where Lal Singh's political mentor Ghulam Nabi Azad is contesting elections. Officially Chowdhary Lal Singh has announced support for Ghulam Nabi Azad but on ground his supporters are becoming volunteers of Modi and openly chanting NaMo. Sources said that Chowdhary Lal Singh has given direction to his supporters to support BJP to teach a lesson to Ghulam Nabi Azad. Lal Singh while contacting his supporters in Kathua and Udhampur, is reportedly using a typical Kathua slang to taunt his political mentor Ghulam Nabi Azad. Sources said that a group of a dozen supporters of Chowdhary Lal Singh have been openly roaming in hilly areas of Basholi Assembly seat and are campaigning for BJP candidate. These supporters during their door to door campaign have been asking the people to vote for BJP to save the nation. Sources said that BJP has provided all logistic supporters including vehicles, election material to those Congress workers who have been working against Ghulam Nabi Azad. Sources said that instead of giving importance and important assignment to own dedicated workers, BJP has also decided to give important jobs to the supporters of Chowdhary Lal Singh especially in Kathua, Hiranagar and Basholi segments. BJP has also given huge funds to these Congress workers while as party's own cadre is repeatedly asking for funds to intensify the campaign. Important to mention here that Chowdhary Lal Singh is annoyed over denying mandate to him on Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary segment.
