Sensing defeat, Omar secures career by Modi bashing

Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 9: Sensing defeat, the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has been desperately trying to secure his career by demonizing Modi.
The Chief Minister who had put all his eggs in the basket of Cong vice-president Rahul Gandhi, is going whole hog to secure his seat in the Cong camp by demonising Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister in a rally at a Srinagar had said: "The person (Modi) who equates Muslims with the Dogs shows how much respect such a person has for the community. Such a person can't become the Prime Minister."
It's another instance of twisted facts and is also an example of inverted communal politics.
Modi didn't mean what has been said by the Chief Minister. The BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate, in an interview with the international news agency, had only said that he would also feel the pain if a puppy is crushed by the moving car.
Modi showed that he was sensitive if even a person from minority community is hurt. On the day of the releasing of the party's manifesto, he had categorically stated that he would not do any work with bad intentions.
The BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate had clearly shown that he is for the inclusive growth of all the communities of the nation.
Omar knows that if the real intents of the Modi are brought before the public, especially in the Kashmir, the people would start moving away from the NC and this could be gain mostly for the PDP and also for the BJP.
The gains for the PDP would be on account of the fact that NC is deliberately and in a planned manner trying to link PDP and BJP and secondly, because PDP had said while it will not have any equation with the BJP but would work with the party in the Centre for the solution of the Kashmir
The party had good equation with the Vajpayee Government and tried to lessen the grievances of the Jammu region.
Omar knows that either way he is losing the political battle and it's based on hard facts. In the last elections the PDP had lost the Anantnag seat by margin of 5,000 votes and Dr Farooq could win by a margin of only 30,000 votes. This time PDP in on resurgent mode and the people of the Valley had not forgiven Omar for the death of 110 people in 2010, while Muslims of the country have moved forward from 2002 riots.
