Srinagar, Apr 22 : Condemning the hate speech by Dr Farooq Abdullah, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded action against Dr Farooq Abdullah for publically threatening the opposition political party some during a public rally in Kashmir few days back. In a statement, Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat , AAP leader and parliamentary candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, "We strongly condemn the statement of Dr Farooq Abdullah and thus demand that legal action should be initiated against him." "For Aam Aadmi Party both NC and PDP are our political opponents , but if a senior leader like Farooq Abdullah -a union Minister will utter hate speeches publically against anybody, Dr Bhat said and added that it is our moral duty to raise voice against the same. "I hope other political parties must also condemn his statement and demand action against him, he said and, "demand Election Commission of India should ban him from making public speeches like it was done in case of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile Dr Bhat castigated the coalition Government for keeping Chadoora , area backward as the road connectivity in the area is pathetic. He was addressing public meetings in these areas. |
