Jammu, Apr 22: All J&K Movement for Peace & Justice (JKMPJ), today stated that the present parliamentary polls campaigns have missed the real issues pertaining to people but were overshadowed by provocative and emotional frenzy like Article 370, Afzal Guru, Pakistan, riots of 1984 & 2002 to woo the voters of a particular section to mislead the countrymen. In a hand out issued here, Kuldeep Kumar Rao an active members JKMPJ, expressed his surprise over the latest political campaign sidelining the most important issues of public interest with regard to corruption, black money, price rise, adulteration and unemployment etc while the polling campaigns were hit by the provocative issues like Article 370, riots of 1984 & 2002 with a view to woo a particular section of society. "This is likely to lay dangerous impact on the society and seriously damage the tenets of our secular credentials & democracy, Rao apprehended and appealed to voters to reject all such leaders & political parties who are busy in polarizing the society in the name of religion, region, castism. |
