Jammu, Apr 22: Renowned artists of Jammu and Kashmir Deepali Wattal and Zulikha Farid today mesmerised thousands of music lovers at a function organised by Sangeet Utsav-2014 at Ramlila Ground, Pathankote with melodious voice.
On the occasion, Swami Divyanand Puri Ji Maharaj, Nangal Dham, Sachidanand Shahpurkandi was the Chief Guest while Ex-MLA Ashok Sharma guest of honour.
Daughters of soil from Jammu and Kashmir Deepali Wattal and Zulikha Farid enthralled the audience with ghazals, Pahari, Punjabi and Dogri and classical rags
Earlier, Jai Tirath Mewandi vocalist from Pune also enthralled the audience with Punjabi, Dogri and Pahari Songs which was highly applauded by the present audience. On the best performances presented by the Deepali, Zulikha and Jai Tirath vocalist, the Sangeet Sabha Pathankote felicitated with mementos and cash prizes. Anil Vij Ex-President Municipal Council, Anil Rampal, Kewal Krishan Mahajan and Dinesh Aggarwal were also present on the occasion. |
