Srinagar, Apr 22: In continuation of holding road shows and public meeting in his home constituency of Dooru Shahabad in Anantnag district of south Kashmir J&K's Tourism Minister Ghulam Ahmed Mir has asked the people to vote for the development and not for the forces who were to divide people. "The people should strengthen the hands of secular forces led by Congress President Rahul Gandhi and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and vote for the coalition candidate" Mir who heads the Congress party's campaign for its coalition partner National Conference in Anantnag Parliamentary seat said.
The road show and public meetings were held at Luckbown, Shistergam, Kreeri, Malikpora, Shepora and many other places in the Dooru Shahabad constituency.
Mir was accompanied by senior party leader Inayat Rather dist president Congress Kulgam and Hilal Ahmad Shah Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee during the road show. |
