Jammu, June 8 : IGP Railways J&K held security today reviewed meeting at Railway Station Jammu in connection with the forthcoming Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra. Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria-IPS- Inspector General of Police, Railways, J&K Srinagar conducted security review meeting at Railway Station Jammu in which besides Shiv Kumar Sharma, SP Railways, Jammu, Rahul Malik, SP South Jammu and Commandant IRP 17th Bn, RN Meena, DTM N/R Jammu, Station Superintendent Railway Station Jammu, Maj. Brajesh Thapyal, (Army), Assist. Commandant CRPF, Representatives of CRPF, BSF, all SDPO's of GRP Jammu / Katra, other NGOs of GRP and RPF officers attended. During the meeting necessary directions were given to SP GRP Jammu to establish a Public Assistance Booth at Railway Station Jammu to facilitate yatries and brief the nafri deployed with regard to dealing with the yatries. It was emphasized upon each to establish joint control room of RPF, Army, CRPF, BSF, GRP at Railway Station Jammu. All the participants were also directed to chalk out the proper contingency plan in consultation with PMF's, Distt. Police, Railway Authorities, RPF etc. for Railway Station Jammu to meet in case of any exigency. |
