Udhampur, Oct 8: All J&K State Pensioners Association today held 8th meeting at Udhampur under the chairmanship of Mukund Lal Sharma Convener of association to discuss the issues and problems being faced by the pensioners and other long pending demands of employees and Pensioners.
During the meeting the speakers highlighted the their long pending demands including Pending Arrears of sixth pay commission, release of 17 % DA installment enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000, one rank -one pension scheme as central govt pattern. Other demands highlighted during this meeting were 25 % reservation quota for wards of pensioners, and issued the dry and liquid card for state pensioners.
