Congress leaders visit border areas, seek safety | | | Jammu, Oct 8: A team of Congress leaders visited border areas, including village Sai Kalan, Devi Garh, Chak Bulla and Faloura, which have been badly affected by Pakistan firing.According to press release, a team of Congress led by Thakur Hari Singh-Vice President PCC along with former ministers Mula Ram -Vice President, R.S. Chib-General Secretary PCC, Indu Pawar-MLA President J&K Pradesh Mahila Congress beside other visited many houses damaged in Pak firing and also met the families of the persons killed and injured. The members of the firing victims tolled tail of their miseries. PCC leaders urged upon the Government to ensure the safety of civil population of the border area, all safety measures including shifting of border people to safe places be taken and the confidence amongst them be restored. The ex-gratia relief be provided to the affected people immediately, besides free and best medical treatment to the border firing people. They also demanded allotment of five marlas plot to all those border area families who have been left in the allotment process, taken place earlier by the State Government. |
