Former MLC visits border villages affected by Pak firing | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 8: Amid unprovoked mortar shelling since last two days across the International Border (IB) area by Pakistan in Hiranagar, senior congress leader and EX-MLC Subash Gupta conducted tour to affected border areas of Hiranagar and criticized the Pakistan for targeting civilian areas and termed it as criminal act. Gupta also condoled the brutal killing of two innocent civilians of Border village "Chleyari" by Pakistan's heavy firing. During the tour Gupta has also lambasted on union government and said it is the Government which has totally failed to tackle the Pakistan instead it is involved in creating castles in the air by delivering illusionary speeches. Gupta however added said Pakistan's designs can never be succeeded in our country because there is unity and integrity between all communities which plays as significant role as a weapon to give the defeat to enemies of the country. He said hundreds of villages of International Border areas in Hiranagar Tehsil are affected due to Pak's continuous heavy shelling. Congress leader urged the state Government and District administration to take some more steps to protect this big migrating population. |
