| Jammu, Oct 8 (JNF) : In a Public Interest litigation filed by the residents of Sunjwan, Sainik Colony, Jammu through Rashpaul Singh & ors against the illegal encroachments of Nallah flowing towards the Sharma Resorts from Haji Basti, A Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today after hearing Sr. Adv Sunil Sethi with Adv Veenu Gupta for the PIL whereas Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra for the state, directed State to ensure implementation of the provision of Jammu and Kashmir Water Resources (Regulation and Management) Act, 2010 in its letter and spirit. Failure to comply with the directions shall form basis for proceeding against the government and its authorities. |
