Jammu, Oct 8: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Rajesh Kumar -IPS, today chaired a meeting of senior Police officers at Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu today to review the arrangements being made for the National Police Day popularly known as Police Commemoration Day Parade which falls on 21st October every year.
The meeting was apprised that main function will be conducted at Gulshan Ground Jammu and rich tributes will be paid by all the senior Officers at Police Martyrs Memorial, Rail Head, Jammu besides a blood donation camp held after the Commemoration Day Parade .
During the meeting IGP Jammu, Rajesh Kumar, stressed them to put in their best for ensuring adequate security and law and order arrangements for the day to acknowledge the sacrifices made by the martyrs.
The meeting was attended by DIG Jammu, DIG IR/ Armed, SSP Jammu, SSP Crime, SSP PCR, SSP Railways SSP APCR, SSP Security, Dy SP Telecom , all territorial SSPs , Commandants of 10th & 14th Bn and Estate officer were present on the occasion
