HC’s directive on appointment of Assistant Manger Govt Press 10/11/2014 9:24:26 PM Jammu, Oct 11: In a petition filed by Vaneet Gupta seeking quashment of notification no. 13-PSC(DR-S) OF 2014 dated 03.09.2014 issued by PSC whereby Dheeraj Kumar is selected for the post of Asst. Manager, Govt. Press J&K in ARI & Training department and also seeking direction to PSC to select the petitioner for the post of Asst. Manager, Govt. Press J&K in ARI & Training department which was advertised by respondent no.2 vide notification no. 20-PSC(DR-P) of 2013 dated 24.10.2013 as being the only eligible candidate having three years Diploma in Printing Technology. Justice Tashi Rabstan of J&K High Court after hearing Advocate Yaeer Ejaz Tak appearing for the petitioner submits that respondent Dheeraj Kumar is not possessing the requisite qualification of three years diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education as specified in Advertisement notice, issued notice to the respondents and directed Commissioner/Secretary ARI & Training Dept to issue appointment order in favour of private respondent Dheeraj Kumar for the post of Assistant Manager Govt Press J&K In ARI & Training Dept in case he possesses the requisite qualification of three year's diploma in printing technology from recognized Technical Board as specified in the advertisement notice.
