JPPF condemns Pak firing, says Modi weak to deal with the situation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11 : JPPF (Jammu people peace forum ) president Sanjeev Gupta has vehemently condemned Pakistan firing on borders in which several civilians lost their precious lives and scores got grievously injured that included elderly persons and children. Demanding tough stance against unprovoked firing by Pakistan, gupta urged upon the Prime Minister Narinder Modi to give befitting reply to Pak's LoC, IB violations and take tough stand against Nawaz Sharief in the coming SARRC summit in Nepal. Sanjeev said that "People are angry and disheartened that both countries are unable to understand that it affects both the countries and also of the mankind. It is the duty of the government that while showing its firmness and patience it must take appropriate steps." gupta reacting to situation further said that houses and the fields where several shells and bullets had been fired upon, feeling of in-security about their life and property has crept in the minds of the people of whole of this border area. He demanded best medical care to seriously injured persons besides adequate compensation for the treatment and to kins of those who got killed. |
