BBIA hails Govt for projecting declaration of tax holiday for 10 years

Jammu, Oct 11 : Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) congratulated State Government for for projecting Rs. 44,000 Cr financial package for rehabilitation, declaration of tax holiday for 10 years before Govt. of India and other Bank related reliefs to the flood affected people and limping J&K Industrial Sector. Addressing a meeting Annil Suri, President of association said that further to sustain the existing limping J&K Industries and in order to make the trade and Industry survive, the immediate infusion of liquidity and retaining whatever is available of in the system to allow the business to rebuild themselves. BBIA appealed the government to issue directions to take measures to release 60 Crores VAT Refund due from SICOP pending for last more than two years, release all payments held up in various State Govt. Departments against the supply of Industrial Products, get all the Cheques cleared pending in State Govt. Treasuries, Immediately put in place the already approved Cash Less System for VAT refund through SICOP.
