Karvachauth celebrated across relief camps 10/11/2014 10:02:46 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 11: On the Eve of Karvachauth the district administration Jammu empathetically extended all facilities for the women in the relief camps set up for the Border migrants. The concerned officers made personal contributions to ensure that Sargi and other related items were provided to the women to observe Karvachouth as per the rituals. People appreciated the humanitarian initiative of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu and his team of officers for reaching out to the people in this hour of crisis in such an considerate manner. It is pertinent to mention here that the district administration had made arrangements to facilitate Karvachauth celebrations in these camps. As many as 16 relief camps are functional in Jammu district which includes HSS Chakroi, HSS. Dablehar, H S Pindi Sarochan, H S Haripur, H S Rangpur Malania, Sat sangh Dewangarh, HSS R. S Pura, ITI R S Pura in R.S Pura, Rehal HSS,Salerh HSS, Deoli,Golden Palace Deoli in Arnia/Bishnah,High schoolrajpura ,Gupta Farm Akhnoor in Akhnoor, and H S S Paragwal, HSS Domana. The Deputy Commissioner is closing monitoring the facilities being provided to the inmates of these camps and has directed the officers to come up to the expectations of the people and ensure adequate facilities are put in place to facilitate them.
