Jammu, Oct 24: Police today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest in an under investigation case since 2011, in a locality falling under jurisdiction of Pacca Danga Police Station.
Police sources identified the accused as Mahesh Manchanda of Partap Garh Mohalla who was evading his arrest for the last three years. "On specific information, party led by inspector Daljeet Singh and SI Fareed under the supervision of SDPO North Parbeet Singh raided a possible hideout and arrested Manchanda, sources said further adding, " the accused was wanted in a case under FIR 28/10 under 451, 380 and 427 of RPC." |
